Our Perspective

Every Where for Everyone
May 21, 2016

This Year, all National Societies has celebrated the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement day with slogan “Every Where for Everyone” that is extracted from the Movement’s fundamental principles. We celebrate this day and consider it a chance to reassert our commitments and pledges to the basic thought of the Movement’s establishment and making sure that we are bringing the founder’s notion into reality. Accordingly, providing relief items to affected and vulnerable people throughout the world is indicating and affirming the NS’s commitment. Thus, the Movement is actively taking care of affected people in the world without any discrimination based on race, religion, nation, tribe and language. Consequently, ARCS is doing its utmost to foster a culture of unity and coexistence throughout country with an aim to bring the slogan into existence. Our contemplation regarding the slogan emphasizes our duties and liabilities for increasing the quality and quantity of our services. Therefore, the component of the Movement’s utmost respect to fundamental principles insures practical implementation and effects of the slogan in the world. With an attention to the slogan, working with people or for people in the most remote areas where no one can reach considers vitally important. So, all National Societies staff and volunteers must do their greatest extend possible for overcoming the challenges to awake people’s conscience and encourage those minds to think on humanity, inherent rights, human dignity and coexistence. Henry Dunant, National Societies’ Founder, is a symbol of peaceful and humanitarian conscience that is promoting moral sense of NS’s staff and volunteers who are providing services that save lives. Afghan Red Crescent Society, as a member of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, is proud of its services and is providing relief items and rendering services in line with the Movement’s fundamental principles. Finally, ARCS staff and volunteers are reaffirming their commitment to do their liabilities without any discrimination based on religion, language and region ….
